Why E-Invoicing UAE
In short: E-Invoicing UAE gives you three things that rarely come together: provider advice with no commission behind it, engineers who build and support the integration themselves, and invoice automation on agentic AI once your invoices are structured. It is operated by SHORIQ TECH LLC, which is not an Accredited Service Provider and not a tax advisor.
Independent
There are 80 accredited providers on the Ministry of Finance register, and most guidance you’ll read is written by one of them. We aren’t one, and no provider pays us — so when we shortlist providers for you, the only thing we’re optimising for is fit with your system, volume and budget. See the full register.
Engineered
Choosing a provider is a week. Connecting your system to it properly — mapping, rejections, write-back, monitoring — is the project. The engineers at SHORIQ who scope your work are the ones who build it, on the Microsoft stack, SAP and the accounting systems UAE businesses actually run. See ERP integration.
Automated
The mandate turns invoices into data. We use that: agentic AI workflows built on the FlowFirst platform for matching, exceptions, approvals and collections, with a person approving anything that moves money. The platform supports UAE hosting and Arabic voice agents, so data can stay in the country and customers can be served in Arabic or English. See invoice automation.
How that compares
| ASP vendor | Tax or audit firm | Do it yourself | E-Invoicing UAE | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Advice on which provider | Their own platform | Varies | Your own research | Vendor-neutral, written reasons |
| Integration engineering | Their connector | Often subcontracted | Your IT team | SHORIQ engineers |
| Tax opinions | No | Yes | No | No — we refer you |
| Automation after go-live | Within their product | Rarely | No | Agentic AI on FlowFirst |
| UAE hosting and Arabic voice for automation | Varies | Rarely | No | Yes |
| Small-business path | Self-serve | Usually not | Yes | SME Connect, fixed fee |
We are not a tax advisor: where your question is about tax treatment, we say so and point you to one.
